Hardware
A short list, on purpose
We support a narrow set of hardware and test every combination. Unsupported boards are declined politely and consistently so that support stays fast for everyone.

Storage
Use a high-endurance microSD (A2, 32 GB or more) or boot from an SSD. Consumer cards fail. The image runs read-only where practical to protect them.
Power
Use the official power supply. Under-voltage is the single most common cause of "random" reboots, and the portal will warn you when it happens.
Screens
Any HDMI screen. Consumer TVs have quirks with CEC, sleep timers, and EDID; the hardware page in the docs lists the settings to change.
Have a Pi in a drawer?
That is all you need. The image is free and so are the first three screens.
